ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The societal framework is based upon a scenario of peace, lawfulness and procedural compliance. Thus the three important legal aspects that govern a positively functional society are adherence to constitutional, criminal and corporate laws.

While constitutional law ensures equality and opportunity for citizens of a country, the application of criminal law makes the cities and neighbourhoods safe places for people to live and work in. Corporate laws, in turn, govern the ethical and transparent functioning of companies and industries. The three combined lead to a well-oiled legal machinery that is overseen by government judiciary and law enforcement agencies. The study of these three legal aspects from the best colleges for LLM in India is also important as an academic domain as there is a need for qualified professionals in these areas.

The two-year LLM or Master of Laws programme offered by the Department of Law, which is among the best LLM colleges in India, takes the students on a journey of learning in constitutional, corporate and criminal laws. The multipronged approach of this programme also teaches them where each of these streams of law intersects and impacts each other. Students are helped to grasp both the substantial and the procedural aspects of law. The subjects covered under this programme include Indian Constitutional Law, Law and Social Transformation, Legal Education and Research, Corporate Management and Governance Law, Competition and Consumer Protection Laws, Banking and Insurance Laws, etc.

The programme offered at one of the top LLM colleges in India involves a large part of Moot Courts, case studies, and interactions with practicing lawyers to understand the practical aspects of this subject. There are also guest lectures from law experts and corporate legal heads, and workshops and seminars conducted by them. In addition, online training, mentorship and research opportunities are also provided. Students are encouraged to read through the e-library resources at the university, subscribe to the law portal Manupatra, and also be given access to national and international legal journals such as the Yale Law Journal and the Indian Bar Review. The Invertis University is the destination for many students looking forward to LLM admission.
