National Mathematics Day Celebration at Invertis University, Bareilly, UP

On 133rd birth anniversary of Indian mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan, the National Mathematics Day was celebrated by Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Invertis University, Bareilly on 22.12.2020 in recognition of his contribution to mathematics.

Dr. K K Dubey, Head of the Department welcomed all the dignitaries at the inauguration of National Mathematics Day. All the dignitaries congratulated the Department of Applied Sciences for celebrating this day and highlighted the importance of Mathematics in various fields.

During this celebration, there was one expert lecture, by Dr. Amit Kumar Verma, Department of Mathematics, IIT Patna, Bihar who highlighted the importance of Mathematics and tell us about various great Mathematicians and their discoveries.

First year students of Diploma, B.Sc. PCM, B.Sc. Honours, B.Tech. and M.Sc. have also taken part and share their views about National Mathematics Day.
