Event Description
Today, on 6th January, 2021, the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities has organized an informative programme on virtual platform. The information was shared by Dr. Umesh Kumar Sharma (Scientist-F and Director of Science and Technology, New Delhi) under the topic - Multitudinous Career Aspects in Science and Technology. The talk was mainly focused on new career avenue in the field of basic and natural sciences and different fellowships running under INSPIRE programme of DST. During the talk, students were acquainted with scopes and opportunities available in Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Physical Sciences. Earlier, the session was inaugurated by Head, Dr. Kamlesh K. Dubey and the welcome speech was delivered by Dean of Science, Prof. P. P. Singh. The students of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology participated in the event and a healthy discussion and exchange of knowledge among the speaker, students and the faculties of Applied Sciences made the session fruitful. The session was ended by the vote of thanks by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y. D. S Arya followed by Dean of Sciences.
