Excursion trip to Nainital BA H English

The diamond of Uttarakhand – Nainital is an enchanting hill station that sits pleasantly at the green lower regions of the Kumaon runs in the Himalayas. Situated at a height of around 1938 meters, the focal point of the town’s prevalence and magnificence exists in the dazzling Naini Lake, after which the town is named. On 20th September, 23 students of B.A. Honors English from Applied Science and Humanities Department went on Nanital excursion where student's enjoyed the picturesque beauty of mountains.

The students also indulged themselves in the tracking and adventure activities. The students were guided by two of our faculty members. The adventurous souls enjoyed in Eco-caves and in the famous Naini lake boat -ride to enjoy the serene beauty of the place. These expedition not only provide a respite from academic pursuits but also offers an individual to connect to nature, culture and themselves ,nurturing their overall holistic development.

It was well planned trip according to itinerary prepared for one day which included the planning related to the visits, food and shelter facilities. which was a worth remembering and cherishing. The overall experience of the trip was mesmerizing. The students enjoyed the scenic beauty of Nainital and gained experience of communicating with local culture and their traditions.
